The Informal Anarchist Federation/Circle of Iconoclastic Action undertook these graffiti in solidarity with the imprisoned members of the R.O. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire — who are incarcerated in the Greek State’s dungeons — and in the memory of the anarchist revolutionist Mauricio Morales.
Excerpt of the communiqué by Federación Anarquista Informal/Circulo de Acción Iconoclasta: ‘Another motive for our action was to keep in solidarity with the imprisoned comrades of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire who continue to resist from the prisons of the Capital; and to keep alive the memory of the fighter Mauricio Morales.’

PRESS CONFERENCE HELD BY THE PARENTS OF THOSE IMPRISONED IN THE FIRST C.C.F. TRIAL

Posted on August 4, 2011

With faces sad and tired, with their characteristics pulled after their nightmare lasting several months but with dignity and determination in their look, the parents of those sentenced in the Conspiracy Cells of Fire case, welcomed on Wednesday relatives, friends, journalists and dozens of other people of all ages, eminent and not, that arrived in the room of ESIEA (Journalists’ Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers) for a press conference.
One week after the decision of the Three-member Court of appeals that sentenced from 11 to 25 years of imprisonment six of the nine accused, the parents and the advocates of those sentenced are not willing to give up. In the press conference they accused the court of a “political decision”, of ”inhumanity and vengefulness”, while they claimed one more time that the three explosions that did not cause an injury or death of anyone do not justify the total of 130 years of imprisonment that the court “shared out” to their children.
A dead silence prevailed in the room when with a shaking voice Mrs. Hadjimihelaki, mother of 19 yearold Haris Hadjimihelakis who was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment, read the collective statement of the parents. “It was an unfair decision, callous, exhaustive, absurd, arbitrary, inhuman, vengeful. It was a decision that based on the nazi logic of collective responsibility, it targeted individuals based solely on their ideology”, said characteristically Mrs. Hadjimihelaki.
She added that ”the infamous ‘explosions’ are proven not to have caused any danger to a person and the testimonies of the witnesses absolutely clarified they were actions in the ‘sphere’ of political protest”. As for the results of the ‘explosions’, even through the expertise of the people of the responsible service, it was shown that it was firecrackers with a non standardized gunpowder, which can cause a deflagration and not an explosion”, she mentioned.
She left in the end political hints stressing that “Justice punishes brutally and mercilessly destroys young people with guesses and conclusions and not for actions. And leaves unpunished those involved in enormous political and economic scandals, which put at risk the lives of people and the constitutional structures of country”.

LETTER FROM KOSTANDINA KARAKATSANIS FATHER (athens-greece)

Now greece can sleep in peace. PASOK’S justice sentenced the 18yearold then Kostandina to 11years imprisonment with no proof, no evidence, not even based on her age. She may be the only political prisoner that is under 20 in the world. If there is another its probably in a country in banania.
They sentenced her at a trial that was between a court martial and an inquisition, without taking into consideration neither the witnesses nor all the evidence that shouted her innocence.
The crime: she did not conform, to the orders to not go to exarhia, to not fight for anything, to not have a political opinion, to bow the head and beg for lenience. The sentence had to be excruciating.
I dare all the judges, all of greece, especially Arsenis and Katseli, to show me what my child did, who she harmed, who she terrorized.
The accused her with no shame of being a terrorist at the age of 17. They are the terrorists and their subjects who have brought greeks to a desperate situation and are still out there free. All the gangs of robbers politicians who ridiculed the nation and imprisoned my child simply because she had the courage to stand up against them.
It couldn’t happen any other way. The decision had been made. The party had to show that it eliminated terrorism. The seats had to be saved.
I speak of course of Georges (Papandreou) party and co. This party has nothing to do with the Pasok of Andreas (Papandreou, father of george), Gennimatas, Merkouri, Tritsis (all ex leaders of Pasok), and all those who taught democracy, respect of the citizen and equal justice for all. We are speaking of a party of which its leader tries to cover up the corruption of his comrades with alleged investigations.
Why do they not make the same judges try Mantelis, Alogoskoufis, Simitis, Tsohatzopoulos, Rousopoulos, Papantoniou, Voulgarakis and all the others, just so we can see if they have the guts and balls to use the full length of the law and its sentences.
So your justice had to show its existence on my childs back?
Minister, because your new in this ministry and you haven’t been informed by your co-fighters Papoutsis, Kastanidis, Hrisohoidis, i will tell you: The crime these kids committed was that they dared to get fed up before all of us. And the people dared it.
The babies and their pots became a chant. Hundreds of thousands of people in squares were holding pots. Art honored them. A well known composer and singer sings: “C’mon my friend, grab a pot, and tell he kids to come one night and burn it all”, as a token of respect to those who did nothing for themselves, to those who mortgaged their youth behind bars and its no just the song.
Its all Greeks except for your people who are set and comfortable . This is the great crime they committed. They bothered the system, woke memories and chants we used years before the babies were born. You remember minister? Its the ones we chanted together with a lot of you in the streets and they are all current examples.”People youre starving, why are you bowing to them”, “Cops- pigs- murderers”, “Bread, education, freedom” and your comrade Papoutsis remembers them because he applied them word-to-word in the constitution. All that was missing was Dertilis tank. Therefore, now that Kostandina is in your fire range, you can walk the streets with no fear, the cafes, the stadiums, go out and admire a country, that only you could have brought this low.
It is my honor therefore, that my daughter did not make my mistake of belonging to cheap political parties.
I am proud that this is my child. The country of Digenis and Diakos, my country, today a country of traitors.
I would like to thank all those who respected my golgotha.
I thank all those who even got beaten up, in order to show their support to my child. I thank the witnesses, i thank the district attorney who even at the last minute realized where this trial was going and did what he could to save the kids from the guillotine.
The court might have sent 6 kids to the galleys, but it for sure it sent 600 kids to exarhia area Athens. Isn’t that so, Mikis (Theodorakis, singer)? We are two, we are three, we are a thousand thirteen.
To finish i would like to thank my friend for decades and advocate to my daughter, Nikos Kostandopoulos. I thank his daughter Zoi for defending my Nina as a sister and i ask of them, after they talk to my child, to do everything within the law. A bit later when everything is clearer and trials are clearly objective.

Political statement from Nikos Vogiatzakis -July athens-greece

Political statement from Nikos Vogiatzakis

On 23/9/2009, at 19.30, while coming out of the house of comrade P.Masouras we were surrounded by 15-20 people of the anti-terrorist force, wearing helmets and hoods and aiming at us with their guns, immobilized us and led us to the cop car. Then a cop speaking on his mobile phone said “we got them, we are coming.” Ofcourse when we asked them where we are going and what happened, we got no answer. When we got to GADA (athens police headquarters) they led us to the 12th floor and put us in two different offices, where they told us to stand facing against the wall. After a few arguements and tension the one in charge came in screaming ecstaticly :”this is how the state fucks” and “we are at war”. Three-four hours later after his delirium he invited me to his office for a “friendly chat”. He began by saying that i am a good kid and im getting in trouble for no reason, that my friend gave me up and all i have to do is tell him everything i know and then i will be free.
He continued by intensely questioning me about situations i did’t know of.
Because I kept on asking why i am there and to communicate with my lawyer, he took me to the office i was in earlier.
After a few hours, around 13.00 or 14.00 on 24/9, they announced to me that i am free and if they need me they will call me again. To my questions where Panagiotis is and why was in GADA for so many hours, they replied that Panagiotis is arrested and i will learn the rest from the tv when i get home.
From there on began a continuous surveillance of the anti-terrorist force at an annoying level, until the 1st of February, when they arrested me outside my house. When they led me to the 12th floor, they informed that there is a warrant for my arrest since the 13th of January which idid not know of desoite that they knew where i live. The evidence of my prosecution were a blue plastic bag with a french pamphlet, that were found in the house on 25 Martiou street in Halandri. When i was led to the mafioso of the appeals court i was imprisoned with quick procedures. They told me i don’t have a permanent residence although i was arrested outside my house. They told me also that i could end up murdering someone with the books i read.
I was led to prison and was released 1,5 month later. Whoever understands, understands.

In September 2009 cops of the anti-terrorist force raid a house on 25 Martiou street in Halandri. There they find an explosive device in a closet of one of the rooms in the house. Comrade Haris Hadjimihelakis is arrested as well as M.G. and M.P. and warrants go out for 6 more people. Panagiotis Masouras is arrested in Galatsi and is imprisoned. Comrades who deny the charges are imprisoned with sole evidence a fingerprint in a house or their friendly and comrade relations. This case has as a target the penalization of friendly and comrade relations. The arrests of the comrades and the warrants, were in the frames of dismanteling or causing a wound to the R.O. C.C.F. in September 2009. They were the desperate attempts of the government to reverse the the climate for the upcoming elections of October 2009. After the elections PASOK continued the relay race and the ministry of public order was taken over by sheriff Chrisohoidis, who being “experienced” in the matter of “terrorism” (17th November case, Revolutionary Popular Struggle case) continued his work by targetizing political spaces. The next step was the 600.000 euro bounty on comrades (S. and M.Seisidis and G.Tsironis). A move that would tempt a society thirsty for intrigue and money. The warrants based on this logic, continue, people get involved in the case without any evidence against them, even without knowing their co-defendants. The clouzeausof the anti-terrorist got to the point of claiming that parents of an accused were members of the RAF, even that her father died in a shoot out with cops which of course is not true. The media parrots contribute to this. The circulation of photographs of wanted or arrested comrades like an icon in the windows of tv-trials and police stations. The arrests, the raids from the muts of the anti-terrorist force, the dozens of un-confirmed infromation on the police snitching phone lines, the surveillance. Even the photographs of personal moments or vacations are publicized in newspapers from a snitch journalist known for his collaboration with the police. The specific photographs were part of the court papers and should not have access to them. The prosedure of information is filtered, creates wrong impressions, darkening of the truth, partial information of the real dimention of the events as well as partial use of it.

The reason of my persecution is political. I would be incosistent with my political beliefs if i was waiting for my vindication through the democratic prosedures and junta courts, which are set up in the soul warehouses of the state. As an individual with dignity i do not accept appeal judges to butcher or nuns prosecutors to agree with the deprivation of my freedom. I am not a member of the organization of which im being prosecuted for. I am prosecuted because i believe in the multiform subversive action and the anti-systemic struggle. I am an anarchist, i deny the charges, i stand in solidarity to the comrades of the R.O. C.C.F. and to all the decent prisoners who continue the struggle from inside the prisons.

String of arsons in Chile claimed by International Revolutionary Front

httrsons-in-chile-claimed-by-international-revolutionary-front/

9 08 2011

From Liberación Total (August 8, 2011):

Responsibility claim for arsons. Vindication for the actions of our comrade Luciano Pitronello. Our reflections.

We are the seed of a tenacious plant. And it’s because of the road we’ve traveled and the need to keep fighting that today, although bruised, we feel somewhat more mature than yesterday. We are thus undertaking, with all our hearts, to let loose some reflections and claim responsibility for our actions as well as those of our comrade-in-ideas Luciano Pitronello, so that they might spread and be discussed in any corner of the world.
These days, it seems that a negative idea has taken root: thinking that everyone involved in the struggle goes through periods of advance and retreat, ups and downs. And although we may think that way, feeling that times are dark for us right now, there still exists the need to regroup, ensure that the unpleasant experiences of the past aren’t repeated, learn lessons, and use every possible means to avoid the bottom of the pit.
We’ve now written something about this, through which we hope our point of view comes across as clearly as possible. We don’t want to overlook any comrade’s practice. This is only what we are thinking and doing, but we are always open to discussion because the struggle is nourished by diversity. It’s the different types and ways of understanding the war that allow us to pave our way.
Firstly, we recognize the existence of an inexplicable quality born within our hearts, that drives us even to risk our lives. It’s the need to be free that makes us hurl ourselves into the void, often without thinking of any consequences. That valiant warrior spirit keeps conflict alive in its most brilliant (but neither its only nor its principal) splendor: our violence against their violence.
Through this text, we mainly want to call for new methods, materials, and knowledge to be incorporated into the violent struggle against authority. We would never dare to judge or oppose comrades who launch themselves into attack without better knowledge or infrastructure. We’re not interested in becoming professional at anything, but we are motivated by the need to intensify the war while preserving our lives and the lives of our comrades. So even if actions always involve the possibility of accidents like Mauri’s death or Luciano’s situation (which are clearly indicative of heightened conflict against authority), to us those accidents also represent a giant step backward because each attacking individuality is in itself an act of liberation, and we must use every means to avoid losses in the course of antiauthoritarian action. It’s not good to treat those tragedies as normal, even though fighters have to learn to live with them.
Secondly, it thus follows that when an individual decides to get organized and make the shift toward violent action—whether that organization takes collective or individual form—the more deeply one gets involved in the battle, the more one needs a certain minimum knowledge of methods and materials to allow for increased, sustained impact. We must be clear that said infrastructure is constructed in relation to the goals of autonomy and liberation, and it never should be considered an end in itself. Building up infrastructure is crucial to our safety, which allows us to perpetuate our actions as much as possible, thereby advancing the struggle.
We need a cushion to land on when situations get complicated, and we need to appropriate methods and knowledge that will improve our mobility, but both needs shouldn’t for any reason nullify our present. The struggle continues, and part of this war involves advancing with regard to materials. While we can’t obsess over it, we also shouldn’t overlook what we still lack.
We will continue to attack authority, maximizing our safety measures and choosing from among the enormous range of existing possibilities for attack, always increasing the diversity and breadth of our actions. Right now we choose to use fire. What will you choose?
We claim responsibility for the following actions carried out just last week:

  • Leaving a homemade incendiary device, quick and easy to prepare, at the entrance to the Local Police Courthouse in La Cisterna on the chilly evening of Wednesday, August 3 (we don’t know how much damage was caused).
  • Torching a Banco de Chile near the Plaza de Armas in downtown Santiago on the blazing evening of Thursday, August 4 (damaging the facade).
  • Setting fire to a Banco Santander in the same area on the same evening of August 4 (damaging the interior, which the press said had been looted).
  • Carrying out an arson at the Olavarría Ltd. luxury car dealership in La Reina during the early hours of August 9.
 FOR POWER, FIRE.
FOR LUCIANO, OUR HEARTS.

—International Revolutionary Front (Southern Fire Columns)
P.S. We send warm greetings of solidarity to our comrades around the world, especially those being charged, tried, or sentenced by the authorities, like our brothers and sisters in Greece and Switzerland and the Chilean comrades involved in the “Bombings Case

Italy: Communique from the Informal Anarchist Federation, “Do not say that we are few” [full DRAFT translation]

Do not say that we are few

To our sisters and brothers of the FAI / International Revolutionary Front, a contribution reasoning its communication, organization and armed struggle, at the dawn of a new era

Do not say that we are few
And that the commitment is too great for us.
Would you say that two or three tufts of clouds
Are few in the corner of the summer sky?
In a moment they let down wherever …
Flashes of lightning, bursts of thunder
And it rains on everything.
Do not say that we are few
Say only that we are.

– Lee Kwang Su
We the comrades of the “FAI / Artisans Cooperative of Fire and Affinity (occasionally spectacular) / International Revolutionary Front” and of the “FAI / 20th of July Brigade / International Revolutionary Front” claim in this writing the fruit of a meeting of more voices, in the name of the comrades “FAI / Sisters-in-arms, Mauricio Morales Cell / International Revolutionary Front,” the parcel bomb that in March 2011 resulted in the serious wounding of the Lieutenant Colonel of the thunderbolt Alexander Albamonte, the parcel bomb that lightly wounded the clerk of the Swissnuclear office, and the parcel bomb to the Koridallos prison in solidarity with our sisters and brothers of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire / FAI / International Revolutionary Front.”
In recent times, in the metropolises overlooking the banks of the Mediterranean, the streets are continually animated by increasingly heated protests and manifestations of the oppressed who are no longer willing to suffer the oppression of rule: from Greece to Tunisia, from Spain to Libya, the fuse continues to burn. In one of these streets we met and we have decided to deepen the discussion on what is moving in the circles of insurrectional anarchism across the world.
Within the general optimism of the comrades who, in the diversity seen always new outbreaks of struggle, in a dialogical and lively informal international confrontation, there was a dissonant voice. It was a comrade of our “Sisters-in-arms, Mauricio Morales Cell,” who told us ragefully of the censorship of the communique/discussion that claimed the actions mentioned above. These 12 claims, delivered by post to various realities of the anarchist movement in Italian, were not published by any, preventing a communication vital for the international growth of informal discussion. Today we know that this censure is only the desperate reaction of a former anarchist tainted by assemblary bureaucratism and by the obsession of the social struggle transformed into stupidity in partial struggle.
From the ashes of the old and glorious individualist anarchism, a new insurrectionalism has been / is being born. As our sisters wrote in their never-arrived claim: “For the first time in history an informal organization, a federation of informal groups across the world was made flesh, bleeding and drawing blood.” The informal organization is no longer an abstract fantasy, a soliloquy in the mouth of a handful of (more or less learned, more or less sincere) comrades. In these last years, in various parts of the world, the new nihilists have sparked the concern of various states, and fear and hostility in the official part of the anarchist movement. The new anarchism will give the destructive fantasy its proper force and will cement the nihilistic act with the proper consistency. Since we launched the proposal for an “Informal Anarchist Federation,” much water has passed under the bridge. Today, thanks to the sisters and brothers of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” who have relaunched the “FAI / International Revolutionary Front,” the “FAI / International Network,” “The International Network of Action and Solidarity,” the “Informal Anarchist Federation – International Network“… with its thousands of names has become a reality. A reality which, now more than ever, needs to grow through the medium of informal organization on the world stage thanks to a federation of action groups. Dozens and dozens of cells, nuclei, movements, and individual comrades who diffusely and horizontally, united by a strong and clear pact of mutual aid, chaotically and destructively wage war on the existent.

It has been ten years during which, through action with our limitations, but with constancy, we have striven to realize this organizational design. Naturally the growth will not be linear and progressive, there will be ups and downs, for long and short periods in which almost all will be silent and then back stronger than ever in a country that we might not even imagine. Every group and individual with its strength, its will, will give its proper contribution of action and of communication to help everyone else to adjust the shot.
The repression has hit hard in Greece. Our sisters and brothers of the “Cells of Fire” continue to fight within the walls, participating with their writings, in an exceptional manner, in this organizational arrangement. If we know one thing, in such diversity, we are the hand that will break the chains. At first what we will bind the revolutionary solidarity through what some anarchists stupidly call “fictive movement,” failing to understand that their solidarity is tempered in any revolutionary project.
In our history we in the Italian FAI have always acted, without mediation, in “social” struggles: the struggle against FIES [extreme isolation units in Spanish prisons used to cage anarchist prisoners and other “uncontrollables”], the struggle against CIE, never relating to them in a demagogic top-to-bottom way. We have always acted as individuals not wanting to indoctrinate anyone. We destroy that which destroys us, what does not kill us makes us stronger.
The only limits that we place our actions are of an ethical character. In a world divided into included and excluded, we have with our actions made a choice. We are not interested in a society divided into classes, we do not want any dictatorship of one class over another, we want anarchy! Millions of microcosms where each individual can experiment freely. Something very similar to what we experience every day through action, elaborated in the best way of organizing without surrendering one’s own individual freedom. It is amazing to grow in this organizational experience together with sisters and brothers who we have never seen and probably never will see. It is amazing how, in a given historical moment, individuals who do not know each other come to the same conclusions.
We do not know how the FAI / International Revolutionary Front will evolve; the possibilities are enormous and unimaginable. It could die in a flash or grow exponentially. Our growth will be mainly qualitative, growth consistent with the unimaginable potential of informal organization. It will take a long time before the FAI / International Revolutionary Front gives its best, before the informal organization creates real problems in this state of things.
It is a war of anarchist resistance that began more than a century ago. With its highs: the contribution of the Paris Commune, the era of propaganda by the deed, the era of great revolutions and its lows: the trade unions, non-violence, the libertarian municipalism, all of which we believe goes by the name of compromise.
Our path will be characterized by a long and continuous communication through action. Communication is the core of all our informal structure, and is also its weakness. Until a year ago, our action-communiques could be read on the front pages of all major Italian newspapers; this sufficed us to communicate. Today, power (it was inevitable) has realized the danger of this communication and they censor not the action but the communique, the message. To speed up the dissemination of this writing and to reach the greatest possible number of actual anarchists, we decided to use e-mail. This choice is also due to the scarcity of Italian language publications willing and able to give space to what is new is moving in the anarchist movement internationally. To increase the reproducibility of an action, in our opinion, this action must be motivated, claimed. Otherwise, power will pollute it, distorting the meaning and making it in fact sterile and this, which we write, we know well for having experienced it directly on our skin many times. A destructive action will always remain a beautiful thing, even if it is not claimed. It can be done for the sheer pleasure of doing it. To do something right is always good. But to us this is not enough, we want to make this system fall. The more reproducible the action, the greater is its real destructive potential; the more rebels understand that a real resistance exists the more they will be motivated to action. In the past and even today, some of us happened to individually participate in actions that were not claimed, with comrades who of course were not part of the FAI / International Revolutionary Front, in order to make technical data that could save the precious lives of comrades, and–why not?–to learn some new technique.
We of the Italian FAI continue to travel all the routes that can flow into the revolutionary river. Riots, popular struggles, more circumscribed projects of radical struggle, all contribute to give new life to our practices of attack. It has been ten years that we have acted undisturbed. Power hits right and left with increasingly fanciful repressive operations, but so far none of us has ever been hit. We regret very much for the comrades who were arrested and indicted, but better that the perpetrators remain outside, free to strike and to strike again. Some of us may fall, but will soon be replaced by other groups. We hope on this occasion to behave like the sisters and brothers of the “Cells of Fire,” who continue the struggle with courage and consistency within the walls of a prison that we are sure will miss.
Criticism must always be active and alert. We have to save criticism and self-criticism from self-referentialism that would lead us to be fictitious, to go nowhere.
As we’ve said before, it is preferable that the affinity groups are not known to each other, to better combat repression, but if it happens like it happened to us, to re-meet in the field of movement, then the risks increase contemporaneously with the immediate prospects. For example, increased technical capacity, increased chances of acquiring weapons and explosives, greater ability to support the comrades forced into clandestinity.
We have read with great attention “The Sun Still Rises” of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire,” and we came to the conclusion that the three key points of the informal agreement of the second generation of the “Cells of Fire” can become the key points the “FAI / International Revolutionary Front.” In these three points are based on our main features.
First: the destructive direct action as a necessary and indispensable. Action that can go from the launch of a Molotov cocktail to the assassination, with no hierarchy of importance, each group or individual will decide how best to take, in accordance with its own revolutionary ethic that surely must agree never to strike in the pile. This point should give rise, according to our perspective, to a new anarchist and nihilist guerrilla, thousands and thousands of fires against capital wherever.
The second key point is important to us and we are never the spokesmen, representatives of anyone. We do not represent that we, women and men, in constant revolt against the existent, against political power, technological power, the power of capital which is likely to wipe out the entire lives on this planet on all levels. In us naturally there is no hope in a class that will impose its dictatorship over another, which then always reduces to the dictatorship of the “representatives” of a class over all others. In us there is no solidarity that does not confront subjugation, but that if the exploited do not move a finger to lift, contributing thereby also to our oppression. What qualifies us most is the refusal of delegation, of “representation,” our revolt is individual and it is there that our anarchism, nihilism and revolution traverses the organizational instrument of the informal federation.
The third issue featuring: international revolutionary solidarity. The comrades who participate in this informal arrangement should launch campaigns of struggle that will join with other groups of the FAI / International Revolutionary Front, in their own time and manner. Three simple and direct points which we believe would mark a step forward for our informal organization, expanding its vision of “anti-social” and “nihilistic” the founding document of the FAI, “Who we are: An open letter to the anti-authoritarian and anarchist movement.”
Everything about the “FAI / International Revolutionary Front” is in chaotic and continual evolution, beginning with its many names and definitions. We are only just beginning, the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” is the motor of this explosion of revolutionary vitality. The driving force of an informal federation that is growing and that has exceeded the confines—which for us anarchists are dead—of nations. Any organizational writing, analysis and criticism coming from the actions of the FAI / International Revolutionary Front will never be the definitive one. Our informal federation is in continual evolution. The comrades of the International Revolutionary Front span the world by one fire and another, already contributing to the analysis and to the growth of this project. Our sisters and our brothers who are imprisoned are our greatest strength, their analysis opens our eyes, our anger and hatred for their arrest gives us strength. A continuous and infinite organizational adjustment: this is the Informal Federation at its source, not in the perspective of a distant future revolutionary world that will arrive we do not know when, if ever, but in the perspective of the quality of our existence, which in this moment, here and now, is fully realized in the armed struggle against power.
We of the Italian FAI propose as the banner of this struggle the symbol of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire,” the 5 arrows of different lengths and different directions that together affect the power. To indicate the myriad of groups and individuals of the International Revolutionary Front / FAI, who, with varying intensity but united by a pact of mutual aid, strike without breath. The arrows are topped by a black star with an A inside, our symbol of anarchism; above the star, the name of the group of the International Revolutionary Front that claims the action. We decided on a symbolism for the story of “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” came in and we broke through the rebels in our hearts. This, of course, if the Greek comrades are in agreement.
In a time of world crisis at all levels, perhaps an informal anarchic structure means to stop awaiting the events and go to the revolution. In Arab countries, regimes collapsed to give rise to other regimes, this time democratic. The world super powers are easy game to influence events, Europe is on the brink of collapse, we must not remain with hand in hand, tied to old organizational schemes that have already past their worst. To hold an Informal Anarchist Federation is to concretely intervene in view of the struggles of the excluded of the whole world, it is to concretely intervene in the struggle that nature takes every day against criminal human “technology.” To intervene through the reality of widespread attacks on the territory. Attacks that are never missed, but that tie together by an informal international network based on the pact of mutual aid, becoming more visible, more virulent, multiplying the diffusion and in fact the subversive potential. As we have said, we do not believe we have the truth in our pocket, but we are convinced that in certain moments in history, the ideas impose themselves on their own, now is the time to give the real contribution that perhaps will make the difference. A good wager, which we make, the best wager that an anarchist revolutionary can make, to throw your heart over the obstacle and see what happens.
We of the FAI / Artisans Cooperative of Fire and Affinity (sometimes spectacular) / International Revolutionary Front and the FAI / 20th of July Brigade / International Revolutionary Front adhere to the campaign of revolutionary solidarity that the comrades FAI / Sisters-in-arms, Mauricio Morales Cell have initiated with the package bomb to the Koridallos prison. Once a year, we will strike in solidarity with our sisters and brothers of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire until we find them in freedom. The dozens and dozens of years in prison to which they were condemned will be transformed into a tragic boomerang for the Greek state. The interests of that state in Italy will be struck, year after year, with ever increasing hardness. We invite other groups and individuals of the FAI / International Revolutionary Front around the world to do likewise.
LONG LIVE THE CONSPIRACY OF CELLS OF FIRE
LONG LIVE THE FAI / / INTERNATIONAL REVOLUTIONARY FRONT

From house arrest in Santiago, Chile – Mónika Caballero in solidarity with the comrades of the CCF and with Billy, Silvia and Costa

from:   culmine translate by SYSIPHUS/actforfreedomnow!28/07/2011

In anticipation of the start of the political-judicial-thriller media spectacle known as “caso bombas”, I am breaking the silence of house arrest to send a fraternal greeting to the comrades theo.r.c.c.f. who yesterday saw the conclusion of their first trial. The exemplary vindictive measures of the powerful have shown themselves in the territory denominated the Greek State.

It may seem a poor strategy on the part of one risking a sentence of 20 years’ prison (accused of participation in a non-existent illicit terrorist association and the placing of explosives) to show solidarity with people who declare themselves guilty, but I am not interested in entering the rationale of the oppressors and observing implacably as they imprison the warriors that collide with this society and who, attacking, passed to action with conviction. Solidarity to those who have passed to the offensive has always been criticized by the pseudo-revolutionaries who see anti-authoritarian practices as youth fashion, and when the war carries high costs they take a distance and become mere spectators of a battle which they have neither the ovaries or the balls to continue, nor is it to make a group sacrifice or deliver oneself easily to the enemy.
But what would happen if you did not make acts of solidarity toward those who have been struck by capital? Is it less dangerous to support those that are legally innocent? I am an anarchist and I am not interested in the laws of society. Solidarity is not just a high-sounding word of communiques, it is material and concrete practice.
Wherever they are, an imprisoned anti-authoritarian cannot feel alone. Tomorrow could already be late…
For you prisoners of the “Halandri case”:
I read your communiques and declarations, I have made many of your words my own and cherish them like a beautiful treasure, without ever having had the opportunity to exchange a word with you I call you comrades and I feel your heavy sentences in my bones.
The hegemony of power uses (will use) the same strategies, the trial that is being carried out in this part of the world is a bad copy of other trials, your trial will be a model to be followed for many governments, it will be “the great antiterrorist victory”. But all this happens where there is the most beautiful disobedience. Ideas cannot be defeated, indeed they reinforce themselves in others that hold them carved in their chest. I imagine the pleasure on the faces of the guards at seeing the bodies of such worthy people behind bars, anger and disgust inebriate me at a mere attempt to be in their place. Prison, death and escape are in the DNA of the unyielding, they are the cost for having bitten the chains.
Walls and borders separate us, ideas unite us.
A tiny gesture… I hope it will give you a smile in these hard times.
I would like to take this opportunity to send a hug of solidarity to Silvia, Costa and Billy
I give you a poem by Sandra Trafilaf, political prisoner of Pinochet’s military dictatorship, written around 1984.
“Fences and metal doors
surround this underworld
trying imprison our joy of living
and loving
the letters of my comrades
are fluttering
in this improvised writing desk
cries and voices from afar
mingle with their words
confused, dark memories
of murderous volleys
and all the same I
fill up again with struggles
and victories.
I am not alone.”
Mónika Caballero
An anarchist awaiting trial
Ps: I would like to thank each individual and/or collective that spreads each release and makes possible interaction between comrades.

Letter of anarchist political prisoner Theofilos Mavropoulos who is imprisoned in Koridallos prisons

Theofilos Mavropoulos was arrested two months ago after being wounded during an armed confrontation with two police officers (who also got their share) in northern Athens. He spent several weeks at Red Cross Hospital before being transferred to a prison hospital and then to A Wing at Korydallos Prison. Below is his first full-length open letter.

Letter of anarchist political prisoner Theofilos Mavropoulos who is imprisoned in Koridallos prisons
“A revolutionary is like a kamikaze, who simply does not accept the fate that the machine gave to them. It is simple to ask for a life that is worth living. Those who totally deny this society have already faced the risk of death. The struggle against the existing way of things is an armed goodbye.-

War or suicide”
Collaboration of individuals for the realization of the negative
(abroad)
from the pamphlet

On 18/5/2011 in the area of Pefki, me and my comrade had an accidental meeting with cops. They wanted us to stop, we tried to leave but we failed (a cop dashed at my comrade while my comrade tried to escape) and thus, wanting to get us out of this situation I made the choice, the political choice of armed conflict. Wanting to slip away from the armed praetors of democracy and since we could not surrender without a fight, deciding to risk in this way, gave the opportunity to my comrade, who was unarmed, to get away. My comrade made it away successfully using their own copcar, but I could not follow because of my injury.
The reason that me and my comrade did not stop at a police control is because we had made the conscience choice of revolutionary illegality. The last and obligatory choice of someone who denies the imposition of imprisonment on them from “Justice”.

The condition of illegality involves a life on the edge of the razor, where the choices get tougher since the risk goes sky high. Legality” is therefore of obvious use to a revolutionary entity.
Nevertheless for all those revolutionaries that come to the dilemma of surrendering or not, how easy or how difficult they will “sell their corpse” leaves its own deposit of disobedience. As in the case of the “robbers in black” who for many years have made the choice of illegal freedom instead of arrest and imprisonment, and more specifically Simos Seisidis who refusing to stop at a police check lost his leg from a cops bullets. Their examples and not only fill all our hearts with pride and strength.
From now on i define myself as one more anarchist revolutionary political prisoner in the hands of the state. A state that ahead of the likely hatched social disturbances tightens the bonds of its subjects abolishing indirectly or directly a lot of democratic pretexts (abolishment of anonymity of phones, required to carry id card, bounties on fighters heads, publication of photographs of fighters, imprisonment of some of them with non existent evidence, the hood law…).

Such moves however cannot intimidate the generalised war of conscience that is being carried out. A multiform war, in the here and now, constantly evolving, aiming at the inversion of the existing way of things. A revolutionary war. Without a beginning, middle or end, but with many fronts. From the open public assemblies to the dynamic and militant demonstrations and from armed guerrilla attacks to the little everyday influences that evolve us at an individual and collective level.

In order for the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement to be effective against the methodized moves of the enemy, it should not be torn apart. Shams, individual vanities, personal disputes, envy but mainly the tolerance and consent to such kind of behaviours should give their place to the composition and continuous refreshing of the a/a movement. Especially the moment we observe attempts of organised internationalisation of subversive action, from Latin America all the way to Europe, this need is more important than ever.

Also the fact that the number of political prisoners has increased rapidly recently leads to various conclusions. Apart from the matter of our solidarity, which has substance when it is bidirectional and aggressive, we must contemplate the need for the subversive forces to always be a step ahead of the enemy.

In order to win a war, not only will and abilities are necessary but also strategy. When the opponent moves the pawns so must you.
The way each one will choose to fight is an individual choice and responsibility. Beginning therefore from the individual all it takes is to collectivize the common desire to fight against authority. Surely political balances play their part, whats important however is the effort to invert them for the better.

The spreading of a/a ideas has a leading role. The quantitative and qualitative strengthening is necessary. Moreover casualties are statistically certain in a war. The motive however for a potential revolutionary henceforth is not only the undesirable integration in the lower social layers. It is such the sovereign mesh of capitalistic relations and perceptions in the lives of everyone that you meet “underprivileged” in all social and economic classes. When human life becomes a product on the shelves of supermarkets and marketing, what use is it to speak of expensive and cheap products, when everything has its price. Without a doubt in the classes of the poor and exploited there are healthy revolutionaries, however ther are loyal subjects, many loyal subjects…

“Those of you who today watch your children playing carefree in the playground and in the school yards, do not be surprised if tomorrow you see them forming revolutionary alliances or participating in armed attacks against the state and the capital”.
With consistency and insistence therefore, as well as with inexhaustible fighting mood many things can be done. The degree of conciliation may differ. It either flourishes in the amphitheatres or extinguishes at the barrels of the guns but the aim is the same: REVOLUTION FIRST AND ALWAYS.

… My fingerprints were found in the apartments in Kallithea and Nea Ionias in Volos. I cannot take the historical and political responsibility for my participation in the revolutionary organisation Conspiracy Cells of Fire, since i never had a joint configuration in the political word of the organization, for which I maintain certain disagreements. Therefore I declare clearly that I was not a member of the r.o. C.C.F.
In no case however would these disagreements prevent the path we carved together. Together with the comrades of C.C.F. we evolved, we learned from one another and stronger henceforth acted in favour of the case of freedom and revolutionary prospect. For these reasons therefore I proudly declare myself PRESENT in the houses of Kallithea and Volos, present also in the lives of members of the r.o. C.C.F.
Recognizing their revolutionary action I stand in solidarity to all imprisoned members of the organisation and I send them my comrade greetings.
The pamphlet “the sun will continue rising” should become a prelude of a new more merciless, destructive and unrelenting circle of hostilities. Comrades, whatever the cost we remain with the necks unbent.
